The Rebel Base was a room that could have been found in Yavin 4 during the Star Wars Takeover. It was a major base of operations for the rebel aliance during the time of the galactic war in the Star Wars universe. As such, the preparations for the attack on the Death Star were the main focus and the talk about the upcoming onslaught.

The term "base" refers to it specifically, and the many outposts on the planet were referred to by different names, such as Outpost Beta. In 3 ABY, the Galactic Empire commenced a final attack on the base during the Battle of Selsor. The base was largely destroyed.
- This is the rebels' main base. It is located in the sewers where the Resistance can move around without the preying eye of the Soviets. In the begining it is bare of equipments and soldiers. However, as Chris raids more Soviet occupied areas, the Base becomes filled with equipment, and people start living there. Evertually the base is lost to Soviet forces as Mr Jones betrays them who is actuly Colonel Mikael Bulba. It is there most of the resistance goes into hiding and believed to have died out after this.

However, a temporary base was made in a secret location where The Kid and his friends used to hang out. Using the computer stolen from Soviet forces, they plan their next raids and took over the SAFN News building, where the propaganda was coming from. A final strike was made at Governer's Island, where another Base was made within the deep ventilation areas of Governer Island.
