- Gordon knows it isn't Mastermind, and doesn't think it's B. He goes for D, but unfortunately, this is wrong, the correct answer was B. Gordon leaves with £32,000.
- Gordon doesn't think the answer is A or D, so goes 50:50. He says it isn't A, so goes with C and wins £16,000. Then, the klaxon called time and Gordon would return on £16,000 with 2 lifelines still available.
- From the 8 remaining contestants, 5 got it right, but Gordon was the fastest to correctly answer B-D-A-C, making it into the Hot Seat.
