  • Gordon doesn't know, so he hopes the audience do. Gordon says 75% is good, but he still isn't confident enough, so phones Mark. Mark is guessing the answer is B, which the audience agreed with. Gordon decides to go with Mark an the audience, and wins £32,000.
  • Gordon knows it isn't Mastermind, and doesn't think it's B. He goes for D, but unfortunately, this is wrong, the correct answer was B. Gordon leaves with £32,000.
  • Gordon doesn't think the answer is A or D, so goes 50:50. He says it isn't A, so goes with C and wins £16,000. Then, the klaxon called time and Gordon would return on £16,000 with 2 lifelines still available.
  • From the 8 remaining contestants, 5 got it right, but Gordon was the fastest to correctly answer B-D-A-C, making it into the Hot Seat.
