Masked theatre, a form of theatre believed to have evolved in 16th century Italy, but spreading across Europe and transforming into later puppet performances such as Punch and Judy. Although not directly related to the Carcosa Mythos, it has certain thematic similarities, as seen in the story Fiorenze. See also Mask and Dionysus.
