Isokyria-United States relations are the bilateral relations between the State of the Isokyrians and the United States of America. Relations were established in 1928 shortly after Isokyrian independence. Since then, the two countries have built a close relationship based primarily on the trade of crude oil and their shared opposition to communism. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Eastern Bloc, and the Soviet union in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the relationship between Isokyria and the United States has become strained, due mostly in part to the former's human rights record, which is regarded as the poorest in the developed world.

  • Isokyria-United States relations are the bilateral relations between the State of the Isokyrians and the United States of America. Nevertheless, the two countries remain strong economic and military partners. Isokyria assisted the U.S. in the global War on Terror during the Iraq War in 2005 and the War against ISIS in 2016. Cultural exchanges between Americans and Isokyrians have also strengthened the bond between the two nations. In a BBC poll, 86% of Isokyrians said they had a favorable view of the United States but only 33% had a favorable view of President Barack Obama. 61% of Americans, according to the same poll, had a favorable view of Isokyria but only 8% said they trusted Chairwoman Eydis Stefanic to orient the country towards progressive reform. Relations between the two countries are expected to stay the same following the election of Donald Trump as the 45th U.S. President. Within his first week as President, Trump nominated Jordan Booth as United States Ambassador to Isokyria. Booth was confirmed on February 24, 2017.
