Finger-spears, also known as whip-stings, were small, whip-like cephalopods used as weapons by members of the Shaper caste of the Yuuzhan Vong. Barely thicker than a straw, finger-spears were often implanted in shaper hands and quickly dispatched enemies when wielded as a weapon of choice, sometimes reaching up to 4 meters. Mezhan Kwaad and Nen Yim were both known to have implanted finger-spears.
