- Ragna the Bloodedge is the main protagonist of the BlazBlue series. As a child Ragna lived with his siblings in a church until one day it was set a fire and burned down. During this time his right arm was cut offed. Later on he was bitten by a vampire which turned his blond hair to white. When he comes into contact with the Azure Grimoire it turns to dust and manifests into an arm, replacing the one that was cut offed. He is then trained by Jubei of the Six Heroes in order to control the power of the Azure Grimoire. After the training was completed Jubei gave the jacket and sword, Blood Scythe which belonged to a hero named Bloodedge.
