No further preferences (NFP) is a ballot option offered in some preferential elections which voters should number at the point where they are indifferent between all other candidates (ballot options). During a Single Transferable Vote count (or an Alternative Vote count) if the next available preference listed on a ballot paper is NFP then the ballot paper becomes non-transferable.
