Rafoie is an offensive technique of fire and is the first of the three advanced techniques. When cast it engulfs the target in a large ball of flame, damaging it and any other targets within its blast range. Higher technique levels increase the radius of the attack, as well as damage dealt. Rafoie must have a target to deal any damage; a Rafoie that is cast without a target will do nothing. Compared to Gifoie, Rafoie is much quicker to cast, but costs more TP and deals roughly the same, if not slightly less, damage. Some monsters, such as Gi Gues, Dark Falz, and Chaos Sorcerers cast Rafoie.
