The era is considered to have begun with Roger Federer's first Grand Slam victory at the 2003 Wimbledon Championships and is considered to have ended at the 2020 French Open with Novak Djokovic's defeat in the finals, the last time a member of the Big Four appeared at a Slam final. During this 17 year run, the Big Four won 53 out of 68 Grand Slams and appeared in 63. Each player is considered among the greatest male tennis players of all time.
