It is hard to measure relative fame so a definitive answer is not possible. Tolkien's master-work "The Lord of the Rings" has outsold the Narnia books of Lewis, and it is also ranked higher on all of the "What are the greatest books" lists, so it is possible to argue that Tolkien is more famous, however this is just conjecture.
