  • Suffice to say, The Starving Games is a horrible, horrible piece of cinema that needn't be watched by any person ever. In fact, almost anything else coming out this weekend is probably better than this.
  • From the creators of the "comedies" Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, and the Scary Movie series comes the parody of The Hunger Games that no one asked for: The Starving Games. The trailer, much like the title of the film itself, seems to mimic The Hunger Games, but instead of good acting and a theme focusing on human rights, it's filled to brim with bad jokes.
  • There is barely 70 minutes’ worth of narrative in “The Starving Games,” an 82-minute feature pitilessly padded out with a blooper reel and a protracted credits roll. Judging from the threadbare production values, one might suspect the filmmakers simply couldn’t afford to make a longer film.
