Subchamber 2 is a room in the Impact Crater in Metroid Prime. It is the second of four subchambers in the crater, and is the second area where Metroid Prime in its exoskeleton form is fought. There are passageways in the ground for Samus to dodge Metroid Prime's charge attack by rolling into one of these as the Morph Ball. In this room, Metroid Prime will change to the colors of the Power Beam, Wave Beam, and Ice Beam, in a random order, but will still change in the sequence. When damaged enough, it will fall through into Subchamber 3.
