However, soldiers on the field complained of the heat management issues, as well as the need to replace the coil assembly after emptying the clip a few times. These flaws are balanced by praise of the Type-220's excellent accuracy and high ammunition capacity. Eventually prior to the Galactic Civil War the model was discontinued and replaced with the reworked and more efficient Vajra M50 AIWS.
