Anthony Shaw was the 30th Governor-General of New Englia as well as a former member of the National Assembly and Secretary of Foreign Affairs. Shaw also holds the distinction of being the first Kirlawan born Governor-General and is the older brother of Bernard Shaw who is the current Minister of Foreign Affairs in Kirlawa. Shaw entered into office amid a stagnant period of economic growth and rising unemployment. To combat the issue, he called on Congress to pass tax cuts for small businesses and large corporations while at the same time, increasing those of foreign owned companies based in the nation. The policy had a positive effect for a short period of time as his party gained seats in the next election, however it would come to haunt him later down the road.

| - Anthony Shaw was the 30th Governor-General of New Englia as well as a former member of the National Assembly and Secretary of Foreign Affairs. Shaw's second term was filled with economic woes and other concerns. He was faced with his first foreign affairs challenge after a bombing in the Rutanian East Dovani Territory left many people in the nation scared. Shaw, unlike his counterparts across Terra, failed to come out in support of Rutania and instead decided to let the issue go away. He would finally address the issue about 4 months later in his State of the Nation speech were he showed support for Rutania and announced an increase in the terror level. A year later, the unemployment level spike unexpectedly to 6% largely due to the high taxes placed on foreign businesses which make up a majority of all business in the nation. On top of that, the government saw it's first budget deficit in over 50 years. Shaw's greatest achievment would come at the end of his second term when he selected Vice-General Eric Sanford to become the next Chief Juststice of New Englia. Shaw lived with his wife in New Indrala for the remainder of his life and died on November 19, 2978 from a stroke and is buried at Lucas National Cemetery.
