- A small coastal town on Kabal, Palisade was unaffected by the Imperial bombardment around 0 ABY. The town was the location of eccentric businessman and big-game hunter Tyro Viveca's estate. Spiraling Shape touched down at Docking Pad P13 while Cecil Noone met with Viveca to offload a stolen Hapan Gun of Command. While Noone did this, his cohorts circulated through the town, trying to scavenge needed supplies. At one shop, the Tynnan demolitions expert Dawson found three Quay novelty toys, much to his delight, and the chagrin of partner Kels Turkhorn.
- They could provide primitive shooting galleries, but were not used as primary defense unless absolutely necessary as they were susceptible to fire and did not hold up for long under battering.
- To the casual visitor, Palisade is simply post-apocalyptic wilderness, where a of handful wary survivors hunt small game. But the apocalypse seems to be missing an obvious cause. There are only a handful of nuclear detonations. There are no piles of corpses from plagues. There is only an occasional sign of a battle. The inhabitants are actually the invaders of Shapeshifters-77. Before the invasion, the world was Dieselpunk world of soaring skyscrapers. There may be few human survivors, even more paranoid than the invaders. There is a Moon base that was able to defeat the 1 invader who came.

- To the casual visitor, Palisade is simply post-apocalyptic wilderness, where a of handful wary survivors hunt small game. But the apocalypse seems to be missing an obvious cause. There are only a handful of nuclear detonations. There are no piles of corpses from plagues. There is only an occasional sign of a battle. The inhabitants are actually the invaders of Shapeshifters-77. Before the invasion, the world was Dieselpunk world of soaring skyscrapers. There may be few human survivors, even more paranoid than the invaders. There is a Moon base that was able to defeat the 1 invader who came. The Metamorphic Invaders pose a terrible threat. They are aware of other worlds in will try to travel there. Fortunately there are some natural obstacles. There powers are useless in straight science worlds, although they will continue to kill. In worlds with Magic, they can't use magic and often can't reproduce, making them effectively dangerous monsters. Psionics will easily detect them.but they can use all their powers. Worlds with Rubber Science are the most vulnerable, unless their vulnerability to alcohol is discovered,
