| - Jon: Rotom, who is that Pokemon? Rotom-Dex: Zzt, I’ll scan. Rotom-Dex: Drampa, the Placid Pokemon. Drampa is a normal and dragon type. It has a compassionate personality, but if it is angered, it completely destroys its surroundings with its intense breath. Zzt. April: Bit scary. Roxy: Hi, I’m Roxy and this is my twin brother, Charlie. Charlie: Hi, we are setting up our own day care service. Jon: Cool, I’m Jon and this is my partner Typhlosion. Typhlosion: Ty. Rotom-Dex: Hi, I’m Rotom-Dex. I help Jon on his journey. Mary: I’m Mary. April: And I’m April. Drake: Drake. Roxy: Nice to meet you all. Jon: Yep.

Rotom-Dex: Hi, I’m Rotom-Dex. I help Jon on his journey. Mary: I’m Mary. April: And I’m April. Drake: Drake. Roxy: Nice to meet you all. Jon: So, you are looking after just four Pokemon? Charlie: These are wild Pokemon. We look after Pokemon eggs. April: Oh, I see. Jon: That’s cool. Drake: I’ve never looked after a Pokemon Egg. Charlie: It’s a nice experience. Jon: Yeah, I agree. Mary: You’ve hatched a Pokemon Egg before Jon? Jon: Yeah, while travelling in Johto. I received an egg for coming second in the Cherrygrove City Tournament. The egg hatched soon after and was revealed to be a Wooper. Roxy: I see. Wooper are very likable. Jon: Yep. Charlie: Do you want to come in and see our collection? Mary: Yes please! Jon: Whoa! Mary: Why is it shining? Jon: That means the egg is about to hatch. Drake: Into what? Charlie: That is the whole fun of it, we don’t know. Roxy: Aw. April: Who is that Pokemon? Jon: That is a Caterpie. Drake: Caterpie is cute. Roxy: Hey there Caterpie, welcome to the Pokemon World. Drake: Is Caterpie really tired? Jon: Caterpie has just come into the Pokemon World. This is it’s first time seeing anything. April: What will Roxy do? Charlie: She will give Caterpie a look over and then place it in the correct environment that we have here at the house. Mary: Cool. Charlie: Do you guys want to look after the eggs in here while Roxy and I check on the other newly hatched Pokemon? Drake: That would be great, thanks. Charlie: I should be thanking you, it will be a lot less work for us. This is a stressful job after all. Drake: I didn’t know that there were so many variety of eggs. Jon: There are loads. April: They shook! Jon: They are getting close to hatching. Drake: But not as close as Caterpie? Jon: No. Caterpie was at the end of its hatching cycle. Mary: So these eggs are just beginning their hatching cycle? April: Guess so. Jon, you know quite a bit about Pokemon Eggs. Jon: Well, I do have a ranch for a home in Oldale Town. We have wild Pokemon there as well as other trainers. Some trainers leave us eggs to hatch and then give back. However, sometimes the wild Pokemon have eggs, and when the Pokemon leave without the egg, we look after the egg until it hatches and then look after the Pokemon. Drake: I didn’t think to ask much about where you came from. Mary: None of us did. Jon: It’s okay. Looking after a Pokemon Egg is amazing. Mary: Do Pokemon Eggs hatch at different times even if they were all present at the same time? Jon: Yeah. No egg has the same hatching time. Drake: This room is a bit warm. Charlie: We keep it at this temperature to incubate the eggs. They need to be kept warm to hatch. Drake: I see. April: Looking at all these eggs, it gives me happiness. Mary: Same here. Charlie: That’s great to hear. Come with me. Jon: Wow! Rotom-Dex: Zzt, There’s too many to scan zzt. Drake: You don’t need to scan them all the time Rotom. Charlie: These are all Pokemon who have hatched from the eggs given to us. Drake: There’s a lot. Mary: Yeah. Jon: More eggs? Charlie: We want you four to have them. April: Wow! Thank you! Jon: Thanks a lot. Drake: This is awesome. Mary: Thank you all so much. Roxy: They have been with us a while so they should be close to hatching soon. April: Thank you. Narrator: Our heroes came across a Pokemon Egg Care Centre and went inside to see what Roxy and Charlie do. After looking at the Pokemon Eggs and looking after them for a while. Charlie and Roxy gave Jon, Mary, April and Drake a Pokemon Egg each. What will they hatch into I wonder?
