Asked for his motive, he flees. 2003, here by way of time travel, catches up with him angrily, telling him he put a catastrophe back on course that 2003 had tried to avert by telling Santa Claus of Bun-bun's plan. With no time left, all 2002 can do is coronate the new year 2003. The seed of knowledge 2002 planted, however, is growing into a plan in Bun-bun's mind.
