| - Flesh was one of the original line-up of strips to appear in 2000AD. By the 23rd century mankind had destroyed most animals on Earth, living instead on synthetic foods. With the invention of time travel corporations could hire hardened cowboys to travel back to the prehistoric era to round up dinosaurs for their meat. The series concentrates on man's attempts to use technology to control nature, and nature's tendency to overcome them. The series has returned quite often over the years, as well as having related characters appear in other strips.
- In vertebrate animals, excluding fish, flesh is the colloquial for biological tissue which consists of skeletal muscles, fat, and organs as opposed to bones, viscera and integuments.

- "Flesh" is a song performed by Todd Rundgren, recorded on the album Healing in 1981. The song appeared in the Miami Vice episode "Tale of the Goat".
- The Flesh is a superhero and a member of Action League Now, which appeared on the TV series All That and KaBlam. His character is a dimwitted, yet well-meaning innocent who has incredible super strength and as his name suggests is always naked. Like all members of the Action League, The Flesh is a modified action figure, specifically a Conan toy that has been repainted. The Flesh is voiced by Jim Krenn.
- Flesh is a block found in the Bloody Heap biome. When harvested it will drop Chunk of Flesh.
- Flesh is a material. It refers to the real-life equivalent of "meat" - presumably muscle, fat, entrails and skin of an animal. Most corpses are made of flesh, as well as the following items:
* tripe ration
* egg
* meatball
* meat stick
* huge chunk of meat
* meat ring If you polymorph too many flesh items on a single square, you may create a flesh golem.

- He was once a normal human that was a bodybuilding (he was as strong as Cray Kingston, a.k.a. King) thug who idolized Alexander Paine in A.T.O.M.. He was hired by Paine to help him and Spydah steal Nutronium (a chemical that can end Paine's pain) from Lee Industries. With the Alpha Teens' interference and the Nutronium not being where he thought it was, Paine threw a fit of rage. In his rage, Paine threw chemicals across the room he was in that accidentally hit Albert. This caused his body to mutate and grow to freakish proportions which also granted him super-human strength, far-surpassing King. While very initially angry with Paine, he reminded Albert who he idolized, causing him to regain his self-control.
