The Phoenix Onslaught was originally known as the Phoenix Rebellion and was based out of Fenris keep but a civil war brought on by a horde spy caused what is known as the “first collapse”. After this the rebellion was reformed as the Phoenix Onslaught and became more militaristic. Less like the Defias of the north and more like a version of the scarlet crusade the Phoenix Onslaught made their name known in Lordearon and went on campaigns to defend Azeroth in a whole, including many against the jungle trolls of stranglethorn, the Sha, the Mogu and of course there most famous campaign during the siege of orgrimmar where they helped to bring down Hellscream, but when the Onslaughts leader the illegitimate son of Calia Menethil, Jouran Menethil the Basterd Prince of Lordearon ordered his men t

Less like the Defias of the north and more like a version of the scarlet crusade the Phoenix Onslaught made their name known in Lordearon and went on campaigns to defend Azeroth in a whole, including many against the jungle trolls of stranglethorn, the Sha, the Mogu and of course there most famous campaign during the siege of orgrimmar where they helped to bring down Hellscream, but when the Onslaughts leader the illegitimate son of Calia Menethil, Jouran Menethil the Basterd Prince of Lordearon ordered his men to kill Hellscream and Jaina Proudmore whom he both blamed for his mother’s death in Theramore. However the Onslaught was not prepared to fight both the alliance and horde and where forced to retreat. Varian took this as a declaration of war and sent heroes of the Alliance to wipe out the Onslaught and so a great battle was fought at the Onslaughts current Headquarters at Tyr’s hand in the eastern plagueland. Few members of the onslaught survived the battle and Tyr’s hand was lost to the alliance. Those who survived went into hiding until the Iron horde arrived through the dark portal, and Varian wrynn was desperate enough to ask Jouran for help in fighting them and even admitted letting garrosh live was a mistake. The Onslaught went with the Iron vanguard to fight in Dreanor but found the world was much different than the outlands they knew. It was rich with people and resources, and if the Iron horde where removed, practically ripe for conquest. And so the Phoenix Onslaught built many fortresses across Draenor to be bases of war but there greatest headquarters being the city of Korabor which they helped to save from the Iron Horde. Now they build power and numbers in hopes to conquer this world and then return to Azeroth and have their revenge against the alliance and expand there might to every corner of both worlds. __NOEDITSECTION__
