The 2011 Miami Hurricanes football team represented the University of Miami during the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Hurricanes were led by first year head coach Al Golden and played their home games at Sun Life Stadium. They are members of the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The team posted a 6–6 (3–5 ACC) record in 2011. It was only the third time since 1979 that the program had failed to register a winning record. Despite being bowl eligible, Miami did not accept a bowl invitation due to a self-imposed bowl ban following an ongoing scandal.
