John Sidney King (1876-1953) was a newspaper proprietor and local politician active in the Ealing area. Born in Uxbridge, King's father (John King) established the Uxbridge Gazette. J S King continued in the family business and was responsible for the establishment of the Ealing Gazette. He became chairman of King and Hutchings Limited following the amalgamation of the King family business with Hutchings in 1919. King retired to Bournemouth where he died aged 77.
