In 2369, the Kaleb sector was where the IRW Khazara was to transfer some cargo containers to a Corvallen freighter in 2369, which would then rendezvous with the USS Enterprise-D a short time later to take the cargo to Starfleet Headquarters. The cargo contained Vice-Proconsul M'ret and his aides in stasis, members of the Romulan underground movement, who were defecting to the Federation.
