Yukino attempts to cheer him up by baking him Float Cookies; the next day Yukino is late in arriving to the guild, and when she ultimately does arrive, Sting notices almost immediately notices that she is an imposter when she acts out of character. The real is Yukino is revealed to have been kidnapped by the Guild Master of the Dark Guild Abyss Horn to use her Magic to revive an ancient magical weapon named Allocer. Sting arrives before they can harm her and defeats the Dark Guild all by his lonesome.

| - Minerva Orland is a Mage of Sabertooth and the daughter of former Master Jiemma. She speaks the ancient language of the Yakuma and wields the powerful Magic Territory.
- Lector is an Exceed and one of the Mages of Sabertooth. He accompanies Sting nearly everywhere he goes.
- The younger sister of Toparge, she created the false Obstone and erected the barrier that saps Dragon Slayer Magic from Dragon Slayers. Her barrier was destroyed and she was defeated by Minerva.
- Cranch is the Guild Master of the Dark Guild Abyss Horn. He sought to use Yukino Agria and her Gold Celestial Spirit Gate Keys to power the ancient magical weapon Allocer, but his efforts were thwarted by Sting.
- Frosch is an Exceed and a Mage of Sabertooth who is always seen in Rogue's company. It has a habit of speaking in short sentences, usually beginning in the third person.
- Rogue Cheney is a Mage of the Sabertooth Guild, the other member of the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth and a Dragon Slayer. His Exceed companion is Frosch and his variation of Dragon Slayer Magic is Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic.
- A young man who desires to obtain the power of Dragons and thus set up a trap to lure in the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth to steal their Dragon Slaying Lacrima. He at one point masqueraded as the mayor of the false Obstone.
- Sting Eucliffe is the Guild Master of Sabertooth and a member of the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth; his Exceed partner is Lector and the Magic he commands is White Dragon Slayer Magic.
- Orga Nanagear is a Mage of the Sabertooth Guild who is a practitioner of the ancient Lightning God Slayer Magic.
- Pisces, "The Paired Fish", are a pair of Gold Key Celestial Spirits that take the form of black and white koi fish. Their key is owned by Yukino Agria.
- An unnamed member of Abyss Horn who masqueraded as Yukino so as to not let Sabertooth know that she had been kidnapped by Cranch. His facade was unsuccessful; he was beaten by Sting and then tortured by Minerva for information.
- Yukino Agria is one of Sabertooth's Mages and a practitioner of the now-rare Celestial Spirit Magic.
- Jason is a reporter for the Weekly Sorcerer Magazine that writes very enthralling articles about the exploits of Sabertooth's more prominent members, barring Guild Master Sting, something which usually leaves the Dragon Slayer rather annoyed.
- Rufus Lore is one of the Mages of Sabertooth; he has a habit of referring to his memory in typical conversation, stemming from his use of the powerful and ancient Memory-Make.
- Dobengal is one of the Mages of Sabertooth; his appearance resembles that of a stereotypical ninja.
