  • An Acklay is a ferocious monster that fought in the Geonosian arena. It is close to the appearance of a large praying mantis, and appears in LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars on the Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones film. It was eventually killed by Obi-Wan, via a Geonosian spear.
  • Acklay were non-sentient animals that lived on Felucia. They were generally hostile creatures as they were predatory creatures. The Acklay had long legs that ended in hard, sharp points, a flat shell-like body, a long, soft neck and a mouth full of sharp teeth. They were particulary vulnerable to attacks reaching its neck, however due to their height attacking an acklay's neck was difficult. Acklay appeared in the 501st Legion's Rise of the Empire Campaign on Felucia. Six acklay attack the clone troopers whilst they are locating and securing a downed AT-TE walker.
  • Acklays were amphibious reptillian crustaceans with six deadly claws and razor-sharp teeth native to the planet Vendaxa. They were used as execution beasts by the Geonosians, and one attempted to kill Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padmé Amidala in the Petranaki arena prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars.
  • The creature is in no way related to the slang "ack-lay," i.e., the act of having sex with Cathy, nor did it have anything to do with Lewis Carroll's Jabberwock.
  • An Acklay was a large, carnivorous and non-sentient creature that was known for its vicious nature, for which they were often used for combat with other creatures and beings in arenas.

  • Acklays are carnivorous crustaceans native to the planet Vendaxa. Acklays have sharp claws, thick skin, and average 305 cm tall. Due to these attributes, as well as the species' ferociousness, acklays were often exported from Vendaxa to be used in gladiatorial combat. The creatures could be found on Geonosis, where they were commonly brought in to fight other creatures—and sentients—in the Petranaki arena. In addition to Geonosis, the creatures could also be found on worlds such as Lehon and Felucia. __TOC__
  • Acklay are creatures from Vendaxa and are found on Felucia in SWBFII. In Star Wars: Battlefront II's campaign, there is a mission that includes Acklay; you must destroy six Acklay as a timed objective before moving on. The average height of an Acklay is 3.05 metres. An Acklay can kill you with only one or two stabs of its pincers, so once they knock you down, you're dead.
  • The Acklay was released in 2005 with the Universe set.
  • Acklays are large, semi-sapient ocean creatures native to Vendaxa. They have six sharp claws and tough skin, and are commonly found in gladiatorial arenas on worlds throughout the Outer Rim Territories. One planet where acklays were present was Geonosis, where they fought in the Petranaki Arena. An acklay was used in the attempted execution of the then Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi in 22 BBY, but was killed by him.
  • One of the more interesting monsters in the game, brought in from Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones. There are at least four known Acklays in the game: * In Borvo the Hutt's Vault outside Moenia on Naboo (CL28 Elite, Deathblows), Drops Carapaces for Acklay Armor Quest. * Inside the Geonosian Labs on Yavin IV (CL93 Boss, Deathblows) * Outside the Geonosian Labs on Yavin IV is the Mutant Acklay (CL82 Elite). * In the secret bio-lab on Corellia (217 -7065) is the Sedated engineered Acklay (CL35 Elite, Deathblows)
