Shimmier is a skill that can be given to a lemming in Lemmings 2: The Tribes. A Shimmier jumps from the ground, and if it comes into contact with a ceiling it will grab on and crawl along. The lemming can deal with small slopes in the terrain, but if it encounters a steeper slope, or reaches the end of the ceiling, it will fall down. The Shimmier can be used in place of a Jumper to cross gaps or reach higher ground. Like the Jumper, a Runner using this skill will jump higher and further.
