| - Semmalyne is a character that appears in Might and Magic: The Dreamwright. She was the older sister of Coroboth and granddaughter of Paddifraw, who owned Paddifraw's Repose. Diligence described her as a slim girl with seaflower-blue eyes and a sweet smile, dressed in sandal-scuffs and a brown smock. She was the first person to greet Diligence's caravan when they arrived there, giving Breitling a brief, ceremonial handshake. When the group had met Paddifraw, Semmalyne was one of the people who collected the payment for their stay. Hitch handed her the money with a wink that Diligence found "unnecessarily intimate". When Diligence left to have tea with Paddifraw, Hitch quickly set off after Semmalyne, much to Diligence's annoyance. While Diligence was forced to have tea and chat with Paddifraw and other people of importance, Hitch was arranging a trade with Semmalyne in one of the tunnels of the ramble house. She bought the fine lace undergarments that Hitch had found when his first traveling party was killed, intending on giving them to her aunt. In return, he asked for a small, gleaming disk of beaten copper from her uncle's store, which he wanted to give to Diligence. Diligence, who had followed the pair, only saw the part of the trade where Hitch handed Semmalyne the lace undergarments. Not knowing the context, she had a very jealous reaction and treated Hitch rudely for the rest of the day, which confused him.
