Our father among the saints Dunstan of Canterbury (c,909-d.988) was an Archbishop of Canterbury in Anglo-Saxon England. He actively supported the founding and restoration of monasteries in England and was influential among the kings of England. In addition he was an artisan, proficient as a goldsmith and metal-worker. He was canonized a saint in 1029. His feast day in May 19.
