Joseph Zouche Cahill (26 March 1850-25 May 1936) was a justice of the peace and local politician in East London. Born in County Tipperary in Ireland, he was the son of Patrick Cahill, a Military Knight of Windsor. He became superintendent of police for the London and India Docks Company. He held a commission in the 15th Middlesex (Customs and Docks) Rifle Volunteer Corps . He died at his home in Lee in south-east London aged 86. Some detail here [1].
