The Venturi are a scaly, pink-skinned, mercantile humanoid race with clawed hands. They are one of the oldest and most honored civilizations in the Federation. When their star, Alpha Venturi Major, began to cool and contract, the effect on their home planet was devastating. As the oceans and soil died, the Federation mounted a large scale effort to relocate the planet's population. However, most Venturi did not want to leave, and believed the Federation was not doing enough. Several have turned to piracy to pay for the aid they believe they require. (TOS video game: Starfleet Academy)

- The Venturi are a semi-reptilian humanoid species from the Alpha Venturi system in the Alpha Quadrant. The Venturi were known as an old and honorable race. However, by the late 23rd century, their sun showed signs of instability, causing many disasters on their homeworld. The Federation began relief efforts, but most of the Venturi refused to relocate. Some Venturi saw the Federation's assistance as demeaning, and turned to piracy and marauding. The Venturi were created by Interplay Media for the Starfleet Academy Nintendo and PC games.
- Venturi is a gas giant planet in the Belnafaer system. This means that it is a massive, spherical cloud of gas which becomes denser and denser towards the center until it gradually becomes liquid and finally solid. Because of this, Venturi does not have a surface in the way that "rocky" planets do.
- Venturi Automobiles is a French-founded Monegasque-based multinational automotive manufacturer that designs, manufactures, and sells luxury electric vehicles. Founded in 1984 by engineers Claude Poiraud and Gérard Godefro as MVS (Manufacture de Voitures de Sport), the company's sole purpose was to compete in the "Grand Tourisme" market. However, this plan was immediately faced with many challenges, among them was Venturi's almost unknown existence outside of France, another was Venturi's under-capitalized and under-staffed state. This resulted in Venturi declaring bankruptcy in 2000, nearly sixteen years after its foundation. In 2001, Monegasque Gildo Pallanca Pastor purchased Venturi, and decided to focus on electric-powered engines. This change of direction led to the limited-production

By the 24th century, the Venturi had become members of the Federation, though splinter sects were still in existence and frequently plagued shipping lines. (Star Trek: Pendragon) In 2348, Venturi pirates attacked a Federation starliner, killing many civilians, including the mother of future Starfleet officer Timothy Garrick. (Star Trek: Paragon: "Balance of Power") The Venturi were created by Interplay Media for the Starfleet Academy Nintendo and PC games.

This means that it is a massive, spherical cloud of gas which becomes denser and denser towards the center until it gradually becomes liquid and finally solid. Because of this, Venturi does not have a surface in the way that "rocky" planets do. The outer atmosphere of the gas giant is composed mostly of hydrogen with some helium, methane, ammonia and traces of other compounds. These trace compounds include a number of very complex, unstable bio-chemicals which are highly valued as catalysts for industrial processes. The atmosphere is cloudy and very cold, swept by winds of up to 2,000 kph and frequently blasted by violent magnetic storms.
