  • In the 23red century a reconnaissance starship encounters a derelict alien craft littered with humanoid bodies. Upon further examination they discover the bodies to all be clones. Upon further investigation they come across a lone survivor, a female who suffers memory lose. The ship returns to Earth where Scientist Sergei Lebedev settles her in his own house and names her Niya. Sometime latter Niya discovers that she has near supernatural psychic powers. Professor Ivanova examines her brain, and discovers a neural center that allows her to control the humanoid clones. Upon being informed of this power Niya remembers everything; she comes from a world called Dessa, a planet dominated by a megacorporation that is exploiting the world to the point of ecological ruin. A team is assembled to save Dessa from the approaching ecological cataclysm. Upon landing local Monopolist Turanchoks, learning of the off worlder's intentions inflicts Niya with a mindcontrol wave, yet, she resists his orders, and saves her civilization from extinction.
