Earlier nomination(s): εἴς, δύο & τρεῖς Reason: No longer a list of items, but a well-written article with an extensive history section accompanied by some appropriate and soothing images. Also, the list of important followers isn't just a list, but has a short explanation of every individual. Also, it's long. Apparently, that counts. Spiiiiiiine Closed - No consensus to feature the article. Suppa chuppa Talk 00:16, May 24, 2013 (UTC)

File:Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 15:04, May 7, 2013 (UTC) In other words, per Fswe. Haidro (talk) 10:30, May 8, 2013 (UTC) Nub, you're still on Athenaze book one. Do you even lift greek? :P TEMU File:Cake detail.png JIN 11:50, May 18, 2013 (UTC) * Comment - What's with the fake "earlier nominations"? It's not funny, it's just confusing for anyone who's going to read this later. File:Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 15:04, May 7, 2013 (UTC) Well... Fswe1 15:57, May 7, 2013 (UTC) I can't believe I just noticed this... That wasn't a "fake". It's linked because fishing was article of the month in August of 2006. MolMan 21:06, May 15, 2013 (UTC) * Oppose - The article is boring. Look: "While Azzanadra defended Senntisten, the other Zarosians attempted to conquer the Ritual Site. An atrocious monstrosity called Nex, feared by the gods themselves, led these actions. The Saradominist forces managed to lure Nex and her armies into an icy cavern, realising she was unstoppable, where she was magically sealed. The Saradominists then built the Temple of Lost Ancients around it to mark their victory. Soon, other gods began to participate in the war; Armadyl sent forth his Aviantese and Bandos arrived to Gielinor, only to find that most races had already aligned themselves with a god, thus forcing him to steal goblins from Yu'Biusk and win other less intelligent races for himself so that he could fight in the war. Concurrently, the vampyres, led by Drakan, conquered the Hallowland and took over its capital Hallowvale, ending the peaceful reign of the Icyene there. Demon armies began the Kharidian Campaign, turning the lands into a desert while at it. During the Battle of Uzer, Thammaron and his armies destroyed most of the city, but were eventually defeated by the combined forces of the elite golems, the troops of Queen Senliten and Azzanadra. It took another combined effort of Zamorakians and Saradominists to bring Azzanadra to his knees and imprison him in the Jaldraocht Pyramid. Meanwhile, Balfrug Kreeyath's armies advanced to the southern polis of Ullek and sent it straight to oblivion." It's written in a "and then this happened and then that happened oh and this and that also happened" style. That's the way 12-year-olds write essays, not the way a proper featured article should be written. File:Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 15:08, May 7, 2013 (UTC) I didn't think that was boring. Your statement is subjective. Haidro (talk) 10:30, May 8, 2013 (UTC) As opposed to "the article is well-written" which is 100% objective? Come on, this nomination started with "No longer a list of items," when the above paragraph is clearly a list of items. File:Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 17:20, May 8, 2013 (UTC) It's one paragraph that (yes) lists a number of atrocious events of the God Wars, which all involved Zamorak, be it directly or indirectly. For example, his attempt to claim the godsword and the outcome of his rewarding of Thammaron are in it. Either way, this is just one paragraph in the entire article, and they are most definitely not all sum-ups. Fswe1 17:46, May 8, 2013 (UTC) It's a featured article. We put this on the front page. One shitty paragraph is too many. File:Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 21:29, May 8, 2013 (UTC) I fail to see how it is 'shitty', sorry. The 'sum up'ish style fits this section in fact, as it gives a feeling of horror to the reader, with the terrible events of the God Wars stacking each other. Fswe1 06:49, May 9, 2013 (UTC) It reminds me of High School history. "And then the Germans invaded Poland and then the Soviets invaded Poland and then nothing happened and then Denmark was invaded oh and Norway and then France and Holland and stuff happened..." It's just a list of things that happened. That is not a bad thing in itself - Gielinor pulls it off, but that's because it's written not in a summing-up-style but like an actual history book written by an actual historian and not a bored 60 year old teacher. File:Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 19:24, May 16, 2013 (UTC) * Support- it is well written and detailed Zoli Ben * Support - For glory of Lord Zamorak. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg244/blaze_fire12/RuneScape%20Wiki%20Images/Blaze_fire.pnghttp://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg244/blaze_fire12/RuneScape%20Wiki%20Images/12.png 14:22, May 8, 2013 (UTC) * Oppose - Too much of the article is just quick-fire facts. Very little of the article is actually that interesting either, and there's even a bit of speculation when the article claims that the Iowerth clan is trying to return him to Gielinor - it's never been mentioned that the Dark Lord is Zamorak. Also, * - 07:42, May 9, 2013 (UTC) * Support - It is well written, has the key points, and stays on topic. I personally like how it generally reads, but I can see how it's not for everyone. Isn't that the point of a featured article thought? That it is for everyone? File:Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 19:24, May 16, 2013 (UTC) * Oppose - It's quite dull, and not all followers have a description. Also, δύο and τρεῖς should be removed from the earlier nominations as they are misleading. TEMU File:Cake detail.png JIN 06:15, May 22, 2013 (UTC) Closed - No consensus to feature the article.
