- William Martin is a pre-algebra teacher in the Wallace Fujikawa Elementary School. After Preston Cole produced a perfect test score on his final exam, Mr. Martin suspected him of cheating. After a makeup exam, in which Preston was carefully monitored, he produced another perfect test score, proving to Mr. Martin that he did not cheat, although a perfect score, let alone 2 perfect scores, had never been accomplished on the standardized pre-algebra final.
