| - Tony Carpenter is out early this morning to give Saeed Jeffery an estimate for better security at the shop and sets about installing new locks. Tony and Saeed discuss the probability of Nick Cotton being the cause of the recent trouble in the neighborhood. Meanwhile, Mark Fowler tries to sell Sue Osman some cigarettes which were probably stolen during the shop break-in. Ali Osman is suffering dizziness as a result of the blow to his head when he was mugged the night before. At midday he and Nick are nearly barred from the The Queen Victoria again when they get into a loud argument. Ali suspects Nick is the one who mugged him but has no proof. Nick has been pressuring Lofty Holloway and Mark to join him in a racist gang of thieves and Lofty discusses that with Ali. When Ali tells Sue about the argument with Nick, Tony overhears and whispers to him, "If you want to take it any further, let me in on the action." So a meeting is set for that night in the café to discuss their best approach to stopping the racist attacks. Meanwhile, Nick gives Mark a bag of stolen calculators with instructions to sell then for £3 apiece but Mark is been unable to get anyone to buy them. While the Osmans, Jeffreys, Tony and Lofty are meeting in the café, Nick is shoving Mark around in the street outside for failing to sell the calculators. Kelvin sees this and goes into the café to tell the others. They decide it is time for action and go outside to confront Nick. Ali speaks for the group, saying "Two pakis, two niggers, one dumb turk and a soldier-boy are here to give you a message!!!" and they proceed to give Nick a well-deserved thrashing.
