All There In The Manual: A unique version, since alot of the stories that involve Dyan go incomplete, especially power-up important ones, to understand how Dyan gains alot of his power-ups, you wouldn't know unless you asked the author. Ascended Extra: Dyan appeared in random stories not related to any arc for quite awhile. Became a main character in the ASOC Arc of Second Rising. Author Avatar: Word of God confirms that he is this. Badass: Owning Zangetsu meant Dyan would be a Badass from the word go, but let's break it down: Adaptional Badass: While Dyan is generally Ichigo-level at best, but, to compete in Rising Phoenix, a rather...drastic power boost was necessary. Badass and Child Duo: Ikimoshi with her new body qualifies Dyan and her for this trope. Badass Bookworm: Dyan enjoys reading. He was the 3rd seat of the 11th Division. Badass Crew: Was a member of the 11th Division, the Soul Society division for Blood Knights. Badass Grandpa: Not a grandfather, but, as a soul, he is far over the normal human age where one would be considered a "senior citizen". Badass Longcoat: In Bankai, he wears the goddamned Pimpcoat. Hell, screw Bankai, he wears a haori identical to the pimpcoat as a Captain. And it's a mishmash of Ulquiorra's coat, the haori, and Zangetsu's longcoat. Badass Longhair: Normally has a mullet of sorts, in the form of the Saigo no Getsuga Tenshō, he took this trope and ran with it. Brought Down To Badass: After losing his Shinigami powers, he still retains all of his Shinigami fighting experience. He then later gains a Fullbring, and, well... Handicapped Badass: He's blind in one eye. Don't expect it to put a crimp in his battle style. Retired Badass: He's a defected (retired equivalent) Shinigami from the 11th Division that would much rather spend his time living in the forests with his girlfriend. However, he can, and will kick all kinds of ass. Bash Brothers: Dyan and Shiro are this to each other. Battle Couple: He and Ikimoshi. BFS: His first Shikai. If the "S" stood for "scythe", this would be his current Bankai as well. Blind Weaponmaster: Half blind, however. Blood Knight: Being a former memeber of the 11th Division, it is expected. Bishōnen: In the territory. With the Saigo no Getsuga Tenshō, he hit the line hard. Black Eyes of Crazy: Hollow Dyan has them constantly. Dyan gets them when he is using his Hollow powers, or when his Hollow powers and Shinigami powers were perfectly mixed. He later gets them again in his new Bankai. Canon Defilement: Rtenzo of DeviantART has this opinion of Dyan (see It's The Same, Now It Sucks below). Leads to Hypocritical In Hindsight when his third release raped canon worse than Dyan, as Zanpakutō sharing has been shown in one form of Bleach media, while a third release for a Shinigami Zanpakutō is not possible. Clothes Make the Superman: Inverted. His Badass Longcoat in Bankai seems to work as a Reiatsu Gauge. Crowning Music of Awesome: Every theme Dyan has drips awesome. Ichigo's "Number One" doesn't have anything on these. Dangerous Forbidden Technique: Saigo no Getsuga Tenshō. Dark Is Not Evil: His Bankai. Designated Victim: Dyan is this for Nika's antics when Gai isn't around. Discard and Draw: How he seems to gain power throughout his appearances. Executive Meddling: An admin on The Other Wiki was responsible for Dyan's hybrid form, which evenly merges his Shinigami and Hollow traits. Expy: Of my original character, Ahatake. Like Ahatake, Dyan shares some of my personality, seems to look favorably upon Hollows, and possessed Hollow powers at one time. He later lost his powers to gain Fullbring, only to gain his powers back through the help of someone else. Dyan could also be seen as an expy of Ichigo himself. He looks similar and has the same base powers. Eyes of Gold:Whenever he used his Hollow powers. Face Palm: Only in Second Rising, when he sees ASOC's idea of a hidden base is a large futuristic castle on display for even idiots (read: Nika's crew) to find. Facial Markings: Used to have them constantly when his Hollow powers and Shinigami powers were perfectly mixed, he lost them later. He regains them upon activating his new Bankai. Fan Nickname: Co-py, by User:Achrones150, due to his multiple similarities to Ichigo. Deviation of the trope name "Expy". Fan Preferred Couple: User:Njalm2 would much prefer to see Dyan with Shiro instead of Ikimoshi. Giving Someone the Pointer Finger: Comes with his Sanity Slippage in Second Rising. He does this to Nika of all people.
