- Jormungandr is the offspring of the Jotunn Loki and the giantess Angrboda. On iRO, this character is localized as Jormungand.
- The ultimate weapon of Nox Obscurus, a large, dragon-shaped entity that stretches over 1280km from head to tail. Composed entirely of the liquefied energy covering Nox Obscurus, its wings absorb all energy in the area and ingest it internally, nullifying all energy weapon attacks. Its head can compress energy into a 1.2km-diameter beam of immense power that annihilates everything in its path. The head itself is destroyed by the beam's recoil, but reconstructs itself as more energy is diverted to it. The dragon is left in a vulnerable state while it replenishes its exhausted energy stores.
- One of Loki's children. Jormungandr (also called the midgardsomr) was a snake that was so big that it would sleep on the bottom of the oceans across the whole world. Odin, accompanied by a giant tried to kill Jormungandr but he failed. Jormungandr will be on the side of chaos during ragnarok and will not survive it. (ragnarok is supposed to be the last war between order and chaos, in Northern mythology and after ragnarok a new world will be born from the remains of the old world.)
- Known as the 'Ancestor Piece', or "Doomsday Beast", Jormungandr is an Eternal sealed beneath the Spiral Tower in San Miguel. Eternals are creatures that are neither alive nor dead, but simply exist. It's called the ancestor piece because life came from it. - Jormungandr or as he is better known as the Midgard Serpent is the second child of Lokiand the giantess Angerboda. When born it was assumed that the Midgard Serpent was the size of a human infant. When Odin realized him to be a threat to the gods he banished the serpent into the ocean depths of Midgard. Instead of maybe dying in the ocean, which may or may have not been Odin’s intentions, he survived and grew to an incredible size. When he finally came to full size he was big enough to circle the whole earth getting his name the Midgard Serpent.
