Ernest Musser, who raced as Ernie McCoy, (born February 19th 1921 in Reading, Pennsylvania; died February 4th 2001) was an American racing driver who competed in the Formula One regulation Indianapolis 500 in 1953 and 1954, driving for the Stevens and Kurtis Kraft teams respectively. Although he scored no points, McCoy was a classified finisher in both races. In 1955, McCoy entered, but failed to qualify for, his third Indianapolis 500.
