- Thomas & Friends is a DUPLO theme of the Thomas the Tank Engine franchise, based on The Railway Series books created by the Rev. W. Awdry. The theme began in the year 2005 in the United States and was released in 2007 in the United Kingdom, and ran until 2010, when the theme was canceled because of HIT Entertainment signing a deal to MEGA BLOKS, LEGO's rival, to make construction sets based off of Thomas & Friends.Toymania.com
- Almost all appearances of TUGS characters were modified in some way to fit the surrounding scenes of the live action Thomas & Friends, filmed on the same scale, whether it be face removal or entirely new modifications. S.S. Vienna as an example was repainted black and white, replacing her original white and gold livery. The S.S. Vienna along with Big Mickey survived just as they were through all seasons since Season 3 as said above being the only two of the TUGS survivors to make it into the CGI series, a crane model was also generated along with the CGI series; it was only seen at Brendam Docks.
- In MYCUN: The Movie, Thomas the Tank Engine, James, Percy, Gordon, Emily, Henry, Edward, Stanley, Toby, Lady, and Diesel 10 appeared as minor characters in the film. Thomas returned in Legend of MYCUN as well.
- Thomas & Friends is a British TV Show using clay-faced models. Number of seasons: 7 Number of episodes: 182 Number of specials: 2
- Thomas & Friends (previously known until 2002 as Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends) is a British children's television series. It currently airs in the United States on PBS Kids since 2004. It's first broadcast was on the United Kingdom's ITV network on September 4, 1984.
- The Japanese Narration of Thomas is unique to other dubs in that the series has always had a separate voice cast for the characters since Season 1. Due to the transition of dubbing rights being transferred to Sony Creative Productions from Fuji TV in 2008, the original voice cast was completely changed.
