Madsen was a city in planet Naburu and was located in the continent that was also named Madsen. This city was eliminated when an asteroid was inadvertently dropped on it. The blast eliminated Madsen city and 16% of Madsen's total land mass. The immediate effect was of a magnitude 9.5 groundquake at the impact point and magnitude 9 groundquake over a third of the continent, a 200-meter-per-second shockwave being detected in Melburnes; it destroyed roughly 16% of the continent. The ensuing shockwave also led to massive tsunamis around the globe, incapacitating a large portion of the Naburu's planetary defense systems, while also causing huge humanitarian crises.
