The durum family is most distinguished from other prey and ggi monsters for its hard skin that is very similar to that of a tortoise shell. These things have the normal body structure of a ggi and/or prey and are found in any area. Unlike most prey/ggis they do not have a crest but a pair of horns like a goat, the durumprey having smaller non curved horns unlike the durumdrome. They have a very whip like tail. They are found in a coat of light yellows, oranges and greens.
