DexM Corporation provides the procurement, engineering, warehousing and logistics from over 3,000 suppliers worldwide who are supplying industrial parts to multinational companies. DexM services include quality, inspection, and warehousing, as well as final delivery to the end customer. In addition to managing the global supply chains for multi-national corporations, DexM Corporation also takes a controlling ownership interest in manufacturing companies when it feels that it cannot find a source of supply around the world that is reliable for quality, delivery or price on a particular product. Mr. Pope continues to be the Chairman of the Board of Directors of DexM Corporation and is very engaged in the strategy of the business. = Innotek Corporation [2] manufactures complex fluid power and fluid handling systems for the power generation, nuclear power plant, construction equipment and medical industries around the world. Mr. Pope continues to be the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Innotek Corporation and remains active in its strategic direction. = Novum Corporation, one of the world's largest privately held design, manufacturing and installation companies for complex glass structures and glass atriums. Novum Corporation has offices around the world and its niche is to focus on manufacturing and designing glass atriums for skyscrapers, museums, and other commercial buildings. Mr. Pope was named Entrepreneur of the Year for the State of Wisconsin by then Governor Jim Doyle. The award cited Mr. Pope’s accomplishments at DexM Corporation assisting to reinvent American competitiveness with low cost countries like China and India. Mr. Pope is the founder of Corporate Financial Advisors (CFA)[3][4], a leading middle market investment banking firm located in the Midwest. CFA provides both Merger and Acquisition advice as well as capital to a broad range of middle market privately held companies. Mr. Pope has retired from the firm to focus his time on managing his investments in middle market companies. Mr. Pope has owned a variety of other companies in a broad range of industry sectors and has sat on the board of numerous private companies and not for profit organizations. He is currently an Advisory Board Member of The RAND Corporation [5], the largest foreign policy, defense and technology non-profit think tank in the world. In this role, Mr. Pope’s focus is oversight of the Center for Middle East Public Policy at RAND. He has had a passion for the Middle East for many years, and has had business interests there. Mr. Pope is also on the Board of Directors of Karabus Management [6] a leading management consulting firm in North America serving the retail sector. Mr. Pope’s philanthropic interests center around children, the environment and education. He has been involved in the Himalayas in a variety of ways including as a climber/explorer, and philanthropist. Mr. Pope is a Board Member of the Bhutan Foundation [7] and has assisted with sponsoring and hosting His Holiness the Dalai Lama during his recent US visit. Mr. Pope is very active in the global leadership of the Young Presidents Organization [8], which is a not for profit organization comprised of CEOs under the age 50 and dedicated to advancing leadership of these CEOs in the world. At YPO, Mr. Pope has held a number of leadership positions in the international as well as local organizations, and currently sits on the boards of several chapters of YPO. In addition, Mr. Pope is a member of CEO [9], a successor organization that YPO members join by invitation only, which is comprised of YPO’s finest global leaders. Mr. Pope was educated at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School. Mr. Pope is passionate about the Himalayas, Buddhism, Middle Eastern affairs, international politics, music, global culture and philanthropy.
