With the latest success and the nomination of "Pandemie (Pandemic)" (2009) for “Spiel des Jahres” (Game of the Year) and the further nomination of "Im Wandel der Zeiten – Das Würfelspiel: Bronzezeit (Roll Through the Ages: The Bronze Age)"(2010) as well the nomination for the "Kennerspiel des Jahres" (Connoisseur´s game of the Year) 2011 for "Strasbourg", the hessian enterprise has established itself not only as a distributor, but also as a publisher of popular games. In 2012 the success story so far has been crowned with the “Kennerspiel des Jahres” prize itself for "Village" by editorial partner eggertspiele which also won the "Deutscher Spielepreis" in the same year. Pegasus Spiele continues the tradition of well-known German publishers in this area. Today more than 5.000 games and toys are distributed through its commercial partners worldwide. Pegasus Spiele titles are well-known at trade fairs and events in German-speaking Europe. Amongst its titles, Pegasus Spiele is famous for innovative board games like "Wunderland" and "Junta", as well as for releasing the German version of the cult card game "Munchkin" and the European Version of "Ultimate Werewolf". A network of 250 volunteer game-explainers support the publisher in releasing its products, like the export-hit "Mondo" and the party-hit "Pictomania". Dozens of temporary and 18 permanent employees at the headquarters in the hessian town of Friedberg work every day to create new gaming worlds and experiences.
