In 2013 on March 20, Juu'Khamidi agreed to an interview with Wolf Blitzer regarding what many would think of his reign upon his death, which he and the priesthood predicted would occur on the 63rd year of his reign as Kaizari on May 13th. The matter was of international concern, as Nge'ardhi was a major force in East African politics, stabilizing the region using its power, and much of that was due to the efforts of Juu'Khamidi. His death would bring uncertainty to the region, and possibly allow for threats to re-emerge without Juu'Khamidi's long history of pushing his nation into keeping them out. The text from Juu'Khamidi's interview after he'd been asked about his feelings of dying:

Quote
  • It is clear that I will die on the final year of my reign this year. This was predicted by the priests, and seen in my visions. I have come to accept this fate, and I have no regrets knowing this. I am ninety. I have outlived many others. I have seen all I need to seen, and an imperfect human being, death is my fate. All of our's. Thus, I can say with certainty, that I have no regrets.
