Celeddyn was born in Silvermoon to two parents who were unwed and unwilling to raise a child. At an early age, he was tested to see if he showed any aptitude to magic and when he showed arcane ability, was sent to train with the magisters in Silvermoon City. Early on he showed preference for ice and frost spells and was encouraged to follow that path but he has recently decided to use Arcane magic which he deems a much more powerful specialization. He has spent most of his time in Silvermoon City, having grown up there and currently residing there. The city itself is very dear to him and when asked, he lists it as his main reason for taking part in any combat-to defend the city and the culture of its people.

He is young and had a relatively uneventful life for a Sin'dorei. Like most adolescents, he spent several years exploring his sexuality with anyone who'd give him the time of day. His early adolescences was spent with magisters and tutors, most of which he flirted with outrageously, whether or not they encouraged it. Most didn't. He excelled at his studies however, and was found to be very intelligent, if not a bit naive and absolutely lacking in common sense. He is, of late, involved in an on-again/off-again affair with a paladin but seems to be very cynical these days, insisting he is unable or unwilling to love anymore. How much of this is a front is debatable. One only need look at his book selection to come to wonder whether his cynical outlook is a facade. He spends most of his days, sat in the grass somewhere in Silvermoon City reading romance novels, books on sexual technique and occasionally political dramas and biographies and if he's nothing else, tomes on magical theory. Mostly though, he reads smut with a plot and fantasizes about some dashing paladin coming and sweeping him off his feet. Listing romance as being a "ridiculous" notion has landed him single again. His ever-growing confidence (or over-confidence as the case may be with his violent deathknight ex-boyfriend) has resulted in a broken jaw, hastily healed by a non-healer. He is often seen in the company of a slightly shabby-looking paladin.
