| - Greetings! As you might already know, Wikia is a collaborative community project; this wiki is no exception. As of 2016, the wiki has grown considerably large, though not yet as big as it can be, and nowhere near complete. We'll get there, though, but we'll need all the help we can get! The Work In Progress (WIP) Project is a wiki project devoted to the completion of the wiki pages with series information. A lot of the pages still need expansion and cleaning up, and the wiki is currently being improved, in more ways than one. This can't be a one/two/three-man job; we need all the help we can get! About the future of the series, and why we need to do this... Since The Shadowhunter Chronicles is still expected to grow in the coming years, decade, even, we need all the help we can get to catch up and fill up the wiki, and soon. The next installment of a new series is coming out early in 2016, and a TV adaptation of The Mortal Instruments (book series) is set to begin the same year, so our current goal will be to have less and , and more pages with complete information by then. Sadly, even pages of the main characters are incomplete. So here's what's going to happen... What you can do to help. See the list below to know which articles need the most attention. What can we do to help? Well, the admins are currently also hard at work in expanding the articles, as well, But aside from that:
* Until the release of The Dark Artifices (or for as long as there are still incomplete articles), the article content and styling rules will not apply for the incomplete sections of or new additions to and articles. Thus, you will be free to update pages and add information the article lacks in whatever format you can, and the admins will take care of the cleanup afterwards. But if anyone is willing to fix the page's format as well, then even better!
* Take note that those pages or sections which are already in there proper format do not need to be changed, but you are still free to expand them and/or fix errors you find. If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of the active admins! The prize? Why, the satisfaction of knowing you helped make this wiki grow, of course! And of course, those who had an exceptionally big part in the cleanup will of course be recognized. You can also join this Forum post and 'register' or proclaim yourself as a volunteer. Since this is a collaboration and a sort of group project, we might as well have an official discussion for it. There, we can also discuss what else to do, have group assignations and/or assignments, etc., and you can ask questions, and we can... maybe just have fun with it and get to know who we're working with.
