The Royal Rumanian Blade Troupe was a knife-throwing double act. In 1937, the male and female duo were performing at the Tango Palace in Buenos Aires. After demonstrating his skill against his partner who was restrained on a wheel of death, Indiana Jones was brought forward as an unwilling volunteer and the blind-folded knife-thrower attempted to kill the archaeologist. While the first blade missed, Jones caught the second between his feet. After Jones freed himself from the wheel, the knife-thrower fled.
