Bartley Green is a suburb of Birmingham. It witnessed significant postwar development of outer city estates, resulting in numerous tower blocks. One of the first of the estates to be built was the Bangham Pit estate, which is now undergoing vast regeneration. The Athol Farm estate was built in the late 1960s, including five tower blocks just off Monmouth Road, which have now been demolished.
