AbleNET is an IRC network. It was founded by long-time AfterNET user Anthony Sanchez and several others from that network. The network was set up primarily as a chat network for friends, and as a response to growing disillusionment policies of some of the AfterNET administrators. Several of the users from the network were involved in the creation of AfterNET; some even tracing their usage back to InnerNET. AbleNET is a small network with an average of 100-300 users online at any given time. IRCu daemon is used on the servers. Channel services are provided using an authentification service called AuthServ, as well as X for channel services.
