When transforming by themselves, they transform by saying their name (i.e. "Red Falcon!", "Yellow Tiger!", "Blue Shark!" etc.). Starting with episode 4, they shout "Cross!". The transformation is shown through 3-D models of the team which form the suit around them. This transformation is only used for the original trio, with no version available for later additions Navy Whale and Gold Lion (where the whole team turned into spheres of light that moved them backwards before appearing transformed, which was the sequence used when the original 5 members transformed when battling the enemies in human form) until the last episode.
