The Wabash Intercontinental Defense System is the intercontinental ballistic missile defense system developed in 2013 and the general ground defense that was modernized in 2012. The system utilizes ten surface sites in the Confederation, three satellites and several ready to deploy aircraft. It was developed at the expense of tensions with the Kingdom of Sierra and the United States who objected to the Wabash Confederation's militarization. Along with the system developed in 2013 and 2012, the civil defense services provided by the Cannon administration were also included under the Wabash Emergency Defense System. It currently operates nearly 30 sites, which include broadcasting locations to large urban fallout shelters.
