Her skills were learned and utilized for only one purpose: to keep her family going. Her father drifted from job to job, often spending more than he earned by gambling which made life all the harder for Rena and her mother to scratch out a living - and just how Rena made her money is something she only vaguely talks about now. But it's pretty well known that she was once a successful thief and very skilled at sneaking.

Her skills were learned and utilized for only one purpose: to keep her family going. Her father drifted from job to job, often spending more than he earned by gambling which made life all the harder for Rena and her mother to scratch out a living - and just how Rena made her money is something she only vaguely talks about now. But it's pretty well known that she was once a successful thief and very skilled at sneaking. After her mother died, she lost the only person who ever cared for her, and saw no reason to remain with her abusive father who would make her continue in her dishonest work. Taking to the streets of her homeworld at the age of 16, she found herself faced with the freedom of being her own person - and the terror of being alone in the world at the same time. However, friends have appeared in many strange forms, coming out of unexpected places since she ran away from home, and life seems to be looking up these days ... with the exception of Seifer Wolf hunting her down, that is. What he wants with her is still a mystery to the bewildered girl, but until he stops chasing her and behaving in such a threatening manner, she remains constantly on guard and wary of him.
